With sadness and deep faith in the resurrection, we share the information that our former Parochial Vicar, Fr. Pietro Paolo Polo, passed away on the morning of 13 September at the “Casa Gerosa” in Bassano del Grappa, VI (Italy). Fr. Pietro was 80 years old.

Let us join in prayer for the repose of Fr. Pietro's soul and that our dear Heavenly Father welcome him into our eternal home with open arms. 

A Memorial Mass for Father Peter will be celebrated on Saturday, 23 September at Noon. All are invited to attend. We tentatively are planning to live-stream this Mass for Father's family members in Italy, and other Scalabrinian priests and friends of Father Peter who are not local.

Con tristezza e profonda fede nella resurrezione, vi informiamo della morte del nostro ex vicario parrocchiale, P. Pietro Paolo Polo, nella mattina di 13 settembre a Casa Gerosa a Bassano del Grappa. P. Pietro aveva 80 anni.

Preghiamo per l’eterno riposo di p. Pietro e che il nostro caro Padre Celeste lo accolga a braccia aperte nella nostra casa eterna.

Celebriamo una Messa in suffraggio di Padre Pietro sabato, 23 settembre alle ore 12.00.  Tutti sono invitati a partecipare. Questa Santa Messa sara' live-streamed per la famiglia di Padre Peter, e per altri sacerdoti Scalabriniani e amici lontani di Padre Pietro.
