The anointing of the sick, by which the Church commends the faithful who are dangerously ill to the suffering and glorified Lord in order that he relieve and save them, is conferred by anointing them with oil and pronouncing the words prescribed in the liturgical books.
Please, notify the priest about any person who is sick or elderly and cannot come to the church and would like to receive Holy Communion or the Anointing of the Sick. The Priest is available at any time for emergencies. If someone is in the hospital and would like to receive the sacraments, please inform the priest.
